Opinion, Complaints and Appeals

If you have any opinions, complaints, or objections regarding the activities of the Japan Halal Association (JHA), we accept them as follows.

1. Opinion, Complaints and Appeals

  • Involvement in the organizational content of the Association
  • Matters other than certification activities or involvement in certification activities (excluding complaints about the success or failure of certification)
[1] In the case of a complaint against a certified company by a third party, please file a complaint directly with the certified company. Note 2) In some cases, we may not be able to respond or answer questions due to confidentiality agreements.


  • Involvement in certification activities

Note 1: We cannot accept applications from companies other than certified companies.

2. How to express opinions, complaints, and appeals

Please be sure to send us a written statement either by an e-mail or a letter. Please note that we do not accept it by telephoning representations. Please include the following information and send it to the e-mail info@jhalal.com. Alternatively, please post it at the following address.  Excel Abiko 2F, 3-17-4 Karita, Sumiyoshi-ku, Osaka 558-0011.

  • Contact information of the person who made the request: Name (company name, name of person in charge), designation, telephone number, e-mail address, etc.
  • Involved parties, timing of occurrence, and place of occurrence
  • Details of opinions, complaints, and objections

If the legitimacy of the contents of the statement is confirmed, we will officially accept it. If it is not accepted, it will be rejected. We will report the results within 30 working days of receipt of your statement. Note 1) We will not disclose personal information obtained without permission. However, please note that individuals may be identified during the screening process.
